Sam Bennett is riding high in Germany again having taken the bunch sprint for victory on yesterday's stage 3 of the 2.HC-ranked Bayern Rundfahrt.
The Bora Argon 18 rider took the opening stage on Wednesday, and with it the yellow jersey.
And while he would lose the overall lead to John Degenkolb (Giant Alpecin) when the German won stage 2 and Bennett was 4th and out of the time bonuses; the Irish man's win yesterday was enough to put him back into yellow.
Today's stage 4 is a 26km individual time trial, with the final stage to come on Sunday; a contest Bennett won in a bunch sprint last year.
