Conor Murnane of UCD Cycling Club has taken victory at the fifth round of the Mondello Series in Co Kildare.

At the end of last night's racing Murnane was too fast for the opposition; getting to the line with a length to spare.

He saw off Anthony Doyle (Strata 3-VeloRevolution), who was forced into 2nd place again having been beaten by Cian Keogh last week.

And in 3rd place last night came Jack Caldwell (Bio-DHL-FRS) with Colm Bracken (Kilcullen Murphy Surveys) in 4th and Sean McKenna (Dan Morrissey-MIG-Pactimo) in 5th.

It was Murnane’s second victory of the season at Mondello and comes as he is having a great season. He is currently 5th in the Cycling Ireland A1 ranks for 2019.
