Bono may have been forced to undergo 12 months of rehab and might be sporting a new titanium elbow following his bike crash, but he's getting back in the saddle and he wants you there.
When U2's Bono came off his bike in Central Park, New York, this time last year it was news all over the world.
And far from over-blowing a minor spill, the initial media reports contained little to suggest the seriousness of the fall.
- This X-ray of Bono’s shattered elbow is staggering; wiped out by bike crash
- U2’s Bono pulls out of shows, faces surgery after cycling accident
- Bono needed three metal plates, 18 screws after horror bike crash
Within days it emerged he was in a serious way, with the band forced to follow concerts and their lead man facing into a long and uncertain period of rehabilitation.
In the end he had three metal plates and 18 screws inserted into his elbow and smashed up his face very badly.
But he's back on the road now and back on his bike. And in a bid to raise funds to tackle HIV-Aids he's giving you the chance to enter a competition to win a bike ride in Central Park with him.
All of your expenses on the trip to New York will be paid for and you'll be able to bring a friend.
