Nicolas Roche, Dan Martin and Sam Bennett all had major crashes in big races, but all three also rode brilliantly many times during the season.
Victory was to elude Martin this year but Roche bagged a great stage win at the Vuelta.
And Sam Bennett repeatedly impressed taking a number of really strong sprint wins.
Martin was busy at the Tour de France, attacking and going close a few times but just coming up short in his brave efforts towards winning a stage.

Philip Deignan was a rock once again for Team Sky, with some great footage of him in here dishing out the hurt at the Tour de Yorkshire.
Matt Brammeier had an horrific crash at the Tour of Utah but not before scoring an incredible solo win during a stage of the ZLM Toer in Holland.
