It may now be a New Year but the festive spirit is still in the air and it wouldn't be Christmas without Irish riders hitting the Strava art.

Sticking to a festive theme this time around were Waterford Racing Club's Richard Scannell and Pat Dobbyn.

They took to the roads over the holiday period and by the end of their effort they had a 96km goose sketched out on December 27th between Carrick-on-Suir and Waterford.

The lads pre-planned their effort and executed it well, taking just over 3½ hours on their ride, which involved an elevation gain of 946m.

We had some good county bounds efforts when riders were confined to their home county last year during the lock-down; this effort around Dublin done by UCD CC riders Sean Landers, Simon Jones and Gabriele Glodenyte (AKA Gabby Glo)
