Okay, so we know Sam Bennett has arrived at the top of the sport, but it's still great to see an Irish cyclist getting the recognition that reflects their status.

And this month Bennett (30) features on the cover of the latest edition of Procycling magazine, with a green theme to reflect the fact he's the holder of the green jersey title from last year's Tour de France.

We can't remember the last time an Irish rider was on the cover of a major international cycling magazine. So if you're not a subscriber to Procycling and you buy it in the shops instead, we'd advise you to get yours sooner rather than later as these won't last too long on Irish shelves.

As well as Bennett's cover story there are also interviews with Enric Mas (Movistar), a feature on the Tour of the Alps and another feature about one-week stage races.

The latest edition also contains an interview with Grace Brown and Amanda Spratt (BikeExchange) and another lengthy piece with Lisa Brennauer (Ceratizit-WNT Pro Cycling) as well as features on the Spanish cycling scene and one on eRacing.
