Roche offers glimpse of his Rio Olympics casual kit; what do you think?

Nicolas Roche won two national titles on his trip to Ireland last week and also got to try some of the casual kit he'll wear at the Rio Olympics.

Nicolas Roche was in Ireland last week with the serious business of the National Road Championships on his mind.

And he goes away from his trip to the old sod with two additional Irish titles in his palmares, having won both the men’s TT and road race.

But he has also been selected for the Olympic Games in Rio, where he and cousin Dan Martin make up the Irish two-man team.

Roche tried out some of the casual gear for Rio during his trip to Ireland and as his Tweet below shows, it looks pretty sweet.

Roche’s omission for the Team Sky line-up for the Tour de France means he will have a lot more time than Martin (Etixx-QuickStep) to prepare specifically for the Games.

He will now go to altitude and spend much of the time in the build-up to Rio getting ready for the road race in Brazil so he should be in mint condition for a hilly race that can suit him.

On his day the Vuelta double stage winner and former race leader can take an Olympic medal, as can Martin of course.
