The time was absolutely amazing - 2:57 faster than Chris Boardman's personal best. But it won't stand after the rider who set it was disqualified from the 25 mile TT event.
Marcin Bialoblocki disqualified after 25 mile TT record ride

Having apparently smashed the British 25 mile TT record Marcin Bialoblocki has been disqualified from the event.
It was claimed the Polish, UK-based, pro rider rode very far out into the road. Such a move would force vehicles to overtake a rider very closely.
Consequently, the cyclist would benefit from being pushed along by vacuum of the passing vehicles.
Former Rás winner Marcin Bialoblocki recorded the new time for the 25 mile TT in the UK on Sunday.
He clocked 43:00 at the RealTeam Open 25 in South Wales. He hammered the time of even the runner-up; Andy Jackson (SSLL Racing Team) recording 46.56.
However, Marcin Bialoblocki (33) has now been disqualified and removed from the result.
Therefore his time will not be eligible to count as a competition record. Hence Jackson has been declared the winner.
Congratulations to @JackoTTUK who has been declared the winner of the @realteamcycling 25 on Sunday. Winning time of 46:56

The only consolation is that his ride would have broken that British competition record he had himself set last year. He clocked 44:04 almost 12 months ago and that remains the record.
After winning Sunday's test, Bialoblocki said he has no contract for next year.
And while his time has now been scrapped the publicity he has received will probably aid his search for a new team. It seems like he would make a strong signing for a team.
He has been riding for ProContinental team CCC Sprandi Polkowice this year after two years at One ProCycling.
Marcin Bialoblocki TT record rider
Last September he broke the British competition records for both the 10 and 25 mile TT distances over the same weekend.
First of all in the SSLL Racing Team 10-mile TT on Saturday, September 10th, in Yorkshire, he set a time of 16mins 35secs.
In the process he took 45 seconds off the record of Alex Dowsett (Movistar).
Furthermore, the following day Bialoblocki rode the Port Talbot Wheelers 25 Mile TT in south Wales. Another record time resulted; 44mins 4secs.
