Reality TV star and successful businesswoman Maria Fowler with her boyfriend Kelvin Batey on a night out in Manchester recently. The Irish BMX star is a two-time World Champion and a big medal hope for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
Irish BMX international Kelvin Batey has hit the headlines – and not for his feats on the bike for a change.
The Olympic hopeful is dating reality TV star-turned businesswoman Marie Fowler.
And they were ‘papped’ at London’s swanky San Carlo restaurant recently.
Fowler, originally from Derby, is a former model and previously had a role in the ITV2 series, The Only Way is Essex.
Batey is hoping to make the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro next year having been cruelly denied at the last two Games.

He missed his chance to go to the Games in London after crashing when on the cusp of qualification.

And while he had qualified a place for Beijing in 2008 - when riding for Team GB - injury ruled him out and another rider was selected.
He’s well on track at the moment for Rio and will hopefully seal his place in the months ahead.
This year he became a world champion twice; winning the masters cruiser and 20-inch rainbow jerseys at the World BMX Championships in Zolder, Belgium.
He added those golds to the first world title he had won two years earlier.
Batey was born in Britain but declared for Ireland in 2010.
