Bryan Keane is a hitman in the international triathlon game but his performances out of competition can sometimes be a bit dodgier!
Bryan Keane is a rock star in the world of international triathlon and should get to represent his country next year at the Rio Olympics.
But every now and then even superstars like Keane are brought crashing down to earth when somebody calls them out.
And that’s exactly what happened to him when staying at a hotel in Turkey on international triathlete duty just before the end of the recent season.

The Cork man was in Turkey for the Alanya ITU Triathlon World Cup where he was 16th of the 74 starters in the elite men’s race.
It was a very decent result by the former cycling international, especially since he’s missed over two months of running through injury as well as four races.

But it seems our superhero’s performance out of competition was not quite as good.

And when one of the staff at the hotel where he was staying saw his efforts and cleaning his kit in the hand basin she shoved him aside and applied her expert touch to get the job done properly.
As Keane said himself in a message accompanying the photo below on Instagram:
“That awkward moment when you’re trying to washing your cycling kit in the sink and the hotel cleaning lady basically says, ‘I’ll do that, you’re as useful as a chocolate teapot’.”
