Reece Young of Slaney CC - seen here in the recent SERC Two Day - yesterday won the U16 race at the Tommie Brady Memorial in Robinstown, Co Meath.

The talented youngster broke clear of the main field on his own and soloed in for a great win by two minutes on the best of the rest.

It was an impressive team performance by his Slaney CC outfit, with team mates Adam Thatcher and Fionn Jordan taking second and third on the day respectively.

Slaney CC were also victorious in the U12ace where Elliott Young took the win, while in the U14 race Jack Caldwell of Navan Road Club grabbed a well deserved victory.
