Edward Kearney (Phoenix CC) and Neil McKenna (Ards Cycling Club) won the two races at the Groucho's GP promoted today in Richhill, Co Armagh, by Orchard Shelbourne Cycling Club.
Kearney emerged strongest in a very tight battle on the uphill finish, just about seeing off runner-up Matthew Kincaid (Newry Wheelers). And pushing both of those close was Aaron Parks; the Banbridge CC rider claiming 3rd just days after his victory in the midweek Armagh Crit, also promoted by Shelbourne Orchard CC.
In the A4 race today, the finish was not as close as Ards rider McKenna had a few lengths to spare of the group just behind. He claimed the victory from Damian Russell (Apollo Cycling Club) and Eoghan McGuigan (Unattached Ulster).
The racing today as sponsored by Groucho's Bar and Restaurant, Richhill.
