Just four days after winning the National Omnium
Championships on the Sundrive Road Velodrome in Dublin, Ben Delaney has
collected another title.

The Sundrive Track Team rider converted his current top
form into gold at the Wexford TT Championships in Enniscorthy last night.

He covered the 22.9km in a time of 30:12, which was 45 seconds faster than Marcin Mizgajski (Spin the Bean), who took the silver.

Ryan Byrne, now a
constant feature in the results for Spellman Dublin Port, took the bronze medal in 31:17 while the Gorey Three Day TT stage winner
from two years ago, Jay Earls (South
East Road Club), missed out this time
with 31:41 to take 4th place.

Linda Kelly (Spin the Bean) was by far the fastest women
on the night to collect the elite title in a time of 33:35.

Veronica Murphy (Slaney CC) took the silver, in a time of
39:20, while Lorraine Wall Harrison (Unattached) came away from Enniscorthy
with a bronze, after clocking a time of 41:02.

Special mention goes to well known Irish cycling
photographer Sean Rowe, who was on hand once again to photograph the riders.
However, Sean was also the main driving force behind promoting last night’s TT,
with the help of Wexford Cycling.
