As the clips below reveal, rider after rider fell on the tight cobbled corner on Libby Hill in the junior men's road race at the World Championships on Saturday.
With a Belgian rider having fallen on the tight cobbled bend last time up Libby Hill in the U23 road race on Friday at the World Championships, there was further carnage at the very same spot in the men's junior race on Saturday.
US-based reporter Daniel McMahon parked himself on the bend for a number of laps in the junior race and brings is these clips below.
With the repeated crashes there in the U23 race, women's junior race and now men's junior race - when the surface was wet - the corner must surely go down as one of the most dangerous in recent World Championships history.

You need to look carefully at this clip as the riders are quite far from the camera, but the first two riders - who are both solo just ahead of the peloton - fall off on the slippery cobbled bend.

And despite all the crashes on this corner, a race vehicle picks this very point for a close pass of the leader.
