There's some great footage here of Eddie Dunbar attacking in Portugal, riding out front solo and being recaptured, above.
Currently riding the five-day Volta ao Alentejo (UCI 2.2) in Portugal, Eddie Dunbar was on the attack during yesterday's stage 2; the longest day of the race.
The 19-year-old Irishman riding with Axeon Hagens Berman got clear in a breakaway some 70km into the 206km-long stage after an intermediate sprint point.
And frustrated by the lack of cooperation in the group he pushed on alone and found himself leading out front solo for a total of 78km.
The first clip below shows the highlights of the stage and includes some great footage of Dunbar initially attacking to go clear as well as riding on his own and eventually be recaptured.
We've also included a clip of Wednesday's opening stage, which is the second video below.
And you can read our race report on Dunbar's breakaway by following this link.
With three stages remaining he is now 44th overall, some 1:57 off Enric Mas (Klein Constantia) who took yesterday's stage when he proved too strong for the depleted peloton on the climb up to the finish.
Today's stage 3 also features an uphill finish after 187km from Portel to Beja.
