In what was a very tight sprint, Bennett just edged Barry Markus of the Belkin team to grab victory in Germany's oldest one day race, much to the disgust of the Dutchman's lead out man in the background.

It was also great to see Sean Downey (An Post-Chainreaction) and Ireland's national champion Matt Brammeier (Synergy Baku) in the top 20.
It was a particularly good showing for Downey; a man more comfortable on the climbs than the fast stuff like this. He's clearly going well.
