Looking dazed and bloodied, Irish born and raised Chris Juul Jensen comes down in a nasty smash in Milan-San Remo today.
Chris Juul Jensen was born in Ireland and lived in Co Wicklow until his mid teens, when he went back to live in Denmark, the land of his parents.
He has since been a Danish international at junior, U23 and now elite level and rides of the Tinkoff-Saxo WorldTour team.
The 25-year-old was in the depleted peloton in Milan-San Remo today entering the decisive last hour when he was one of a number of fallers on a wet descent.
The crash and its aftermath left the young rider dazed and clearly bloodied, as the video below shows.

But rest assured, he is as tough as they come and will be back in the saddle racing hard and ripping it up in no time.
