Having taken the first pro win of his
career on Monday, Irish international Rory Townsend took another one today in
China.
The Canyon DHB P/B Bloor Homes dominated the finish of stage 4 of the Tour of Fuzhou into in Lianjiang after going early and getting a jump on his rivals.
Russia's Ivan Smirnov and Colombian
Carlos Quintero (Ningxia Sports Lottery Livall Gusto) were 2nd and 3rd on the
day.
Ilya Davidenok (Senzhen Xidesheng Cycling Team) continues to lead the race after gaining time on the summit finish of Sunday’s opening stage.

Afterwards Townsend, who is enjoying a
brilliant end to an already very strong season, said he was delighted to win
again.
“I felt really, really good today,” said 24-year Rory Townsend of his second victory today and taking the points jersey in the race.
“I gave myself sort of a slightly easy day yesterday because my teammate Charles Page had a good day at the front.
“ In the end I was in the front group and I could see it was sort of messy around. So I just decided to go early and I had time to enjoy my victory.”
