After taking 18 elite titles, Robin Seymour may have been riding the Masters 40 race at the National Cyclocross Championships for the first time ever on Sunday but he didn't disappoint.
As expected, he blasted to the title; taking the gold medal ahead of Jason Henry and VC Glendale's Brendan Doherty.
Seymour powered around the course and even when he went on his backside, captured in the first clip below - by Gary McNulty and whose finger makes a cameo appearance - he took the cheers of the crowd in his stride and remounted to press on.
The second clip below, recorded by Philip Boyle, shows just how skilfully Seymour took parts of the course when many other riders took to their feet to more easily negotiate the slippy conditions.
We'll bring you an interview with Seymour on Monday.
Robin Seymour even had time to sit on the ground and win ahead of his rivals at the cx championships at tollymore.
