Video: Sam Bennett's finishing speed in Norway has to be seen to be believed

The overhead footage, below, of Sam Bennett's sprint win shows him surging from 10 riders back at a staggering speed compared to the other fast men.

Sam Bennett's stage 2 victory at the Arctic Race of Norway looked a lot more straightforward than the reality of his final sprint to the line.

While the Bora-Argon 18 man was set up nicely by his team, as the field hurtled into the final kilometre Bennett became detached from the back of his lead-out train.

And at one point well inside that final kilometre he was 20 riders back.

He managed to pick his way through the traffic and get into the top 10 as the final surge for the line began.

However, even then he was forced to freewheel twice to avoid hitting those riders just in front.

When the way to the line finally opened up for him in the last 150 metres or so, Bennett rocketed from the pack to win.
