Video: Awesome new clip from Danny MacAskill; is this his finest work yet?

Filmed exclusively using GoPro cameras, Danny MacAskill videos himself as he floats across the walls and rooftops of a town on the Spanish island of Gran Canaria.

Just when we thought Scottish street trials legend Danny MacAskill couldn’t amaze us any more, he goes to Gran Canaria and produces this.

It’s mesmerizing to see what MacAskill can do on two wheels, from six-foot jumps to 70-feet drops….with nothing in the way of any support.

Throughout the five-minute clip named ‘Cascadia’ he ducks and weaves his way down towards the sea before launching himself into it.

“I really wanted to finish the clip with something memorable, so a 70-foot (20 meters) front flip from one of the rooftops into the sea seemed about right.

“After a few speed checks, I just went for it and the cameras caught it perfectly so thankfully I didn’t have to do it again. It was actually quite good fun,” he said.
