The US visitors have taken off on the final stage of the Junior Tour of Ireland in Ennis today and taken a brilliant 1-2 on the final stage.
Seth Callahan and Jared Scott of the Lux Sideshow squad sailed over the finish line in the sunshine in Ennis with plenty of time for a double celebration at stage end.
Of the leading duo, Scott was best placed in the overall setting out for the final stage this morning; trailing yellow jersey Nicholas Rivard (Hot Tubes) by 2:56.
And because the two escapees posed no threat, their attacking off the front did not challenge the general classification.
It meant Rivard ran out on the overall winner of the Junior Tour of Ireland 2019 having taken the race leader yesterday from Nathan Keown of the Irish national team.
Best placed of the Irish overall was Kevin McCambridge of the national team; the classy teenager falling short by just six seconds in the end.
The general classification result is provisional pending confirmation by the race organisers.
