Here's a great 10-minute film of An Post-Chainreaction's first competitive outing of the year at the 140km Grand Prix Cycliste la Marseillaise in France last Sunday.

It was an event in which Irish international Conor Dunne made the breakaway for the team, and though it was caught inside the last 20km it was a great ride for him.

Fellow Irish international Eoin McCarthy, in his first race for the team, also spent time up the road when he took off after the breakaway and spent 1½ hours ahead of the peloton.

While he too was overhauled, his ability and willingness to get off the front in his maiden outing at this level bodes well for the season ahead.
