Wout van Aert and Steven Kruijswijk of Jumbo Visma have crashed just before the first cobble section on today's stage 5 at the Tour de France. While both got back on their bikes and continued, they were about 50 seconds behind the bunch as they got goin again.

Yellow jersey Van Aert, who won yesterday's stage into Calais, initially looked like he may have hurt his wrist or collarbone but, thankfully, he does not appear to have broken any bones.

As both riders were getting back on, Van Aert very nearly ran into the side of the Team DSM car, just missing the braking vehicle as he overtook it in a bid to rejoin the peloton.
