Glenn Kinning has continued his excellent run in the early weeks of the cyclocross season to win round 3 of the Ulster Cyclocross Series in Windmill Park, Dungannon, this afternoon.

The Kinning Cycles man was runner up to Robin Seymour (Team WORC) in round 1 of the Fixx Coffee Supercross Series in Grange Castle, Dublin, last month.

But since then he has found a winning groove; taking victory in the opening round of the Ulster series in Lurgan Park two weeks ago and winning again today.

He beat young Darnell Moore (Caldwell Cycles) into 2nd place this afternoon, with 3rd place going to Aidan McDonald (Cuchulainn CC).

The winner of two 'B' races already this season, Kinning's team mate John Reid took to the main event today.

On a cyclocross bike instead of his usual MTB mount, he put in a fantastic ride to claim 4th place on a fine day for 'cross racing.

More later.
