The International Tour of the North riders today faced 105km on stage 3, including five laps of the Roguery circuit with a 15 per cent climb each lap.
While there was no let up in the action, it was on the last lap that the real damage was done; a four-man group getting away from yellow jersey Zeb Kyffin (Ribble Pro).
They went on to gain almost one minute, meaning the general classification was re-ordered ahead of Monday's final stage.
Today's stage 3 was won by James Jobber of the UK Team Uplift Velo squad after he attacked the breakaway with about 6km remaining.
Next across the line, at four seconds, were Leon Mazzone (Spirit Tifosi), Gareth O’Neill (Newry Wheelers) and Nathan Draper (Zappi Racing); in that order.
Draper took the race lead as a result of the 54 seconds he and the others he was with gained on the yellow jersey group and Irish amateur O'Neill is now 2nd overall at just one second.
