Eileen Burns and Anna Turvey endured a challenging day in the elite TT at the European Championships.
Turvey was best placed of the duo, with Burns crashing during her ride.
The 31.5km TT in wet conditions in Herning, Denmark, was won by Dutch rider Ellen Van Dijk, in a time of 40:33.
That was an incredible 58 seconds faster than runner-up Ann-Sophie Duyck of Belgium.
Anna Van Der Breggen from the Netherlands was 3rd, some 1:04 off the winning time.

Turvey, a bronze medallist in the individual pursuit at the European Track Championships last year, was a late call-up to the Irish team.
She was not in the selection named last week by Cycling Ireland, with Burns the only woman name for the TT.

Anna Turvey would finish 19th of the field, some 3:22 off the time of the winner.
Burns suffered a crash around the halfway point which ended her hopes of a fast time.
She quickly got a replacement bike and to her great credit got back on and finished the race; in 29th some 5:42 down.
It was a very frustrating turn of events for Eileen Burns as she had been in very good form this year with a series of quality rides against the clock.
However, she will hopefully have more major championships to look forward to in the green of Ireland.
