The Spellman Dublin Port team enjoyed considerable success on the home scene this year and is beefing up its ranks with five next signings, including a trio of talented young Irish riders.

Ruairí Woods, Eoghan Cooke and Stefan Caulfield Dreier all impressed this year in the junior ranks and they will now step up to the U23 category next season as Spellman Dublin Port riders.

Woods joins the Dublin-based outfit from Lakeside Wheelers while Cooke comes from Ounavarra Cycling Club and Caulfield Dreier joins from Killarney Cycling Club.

Woods, who took a string of results this year to underline his potential, said he was delighted to get the chance to ride for such an established team.

"I’m looking forward to racing with the best in Ireland and helping the team to keep up their high standards on the road and progress as a rider," he said. "It’s great to have such good support from the staff and riders here as the year goes on.”
