Timothy, Slevin, Vereker all strike gold at National TT Champs

Fresh from making
her Paralympic debut at Tokyo 2020, Richael Timothy has used her form after the
Games to take the C1-C5 Solo national title today.

She was best in
the TT at the National Road Championships in Co Wicklow; over 23.41km
from the Beehive Pub, Coolbeg, out the old Arklow road and back again.

Castlerea CC rider Timothy won the title ahead of Scott Drummond (Cork County CC) and Aidan Mullane (Bottecchia Racing Club).

In the H1-H5 title race on the same course, Declan Slevin (Rosemount Cycling Club) was best in a time of 38:58; taking the Irish title.

He saw off Seamus
Wall of Barrow Wheelers, who took silver, at 5:06, with Allister Macsorley (Unattached Ulster) claiming the bronze at 5:08.
