Seth Dunwoody set his stall out early in the 2024 season when he won the opening domestic race of the campaign in Ulster, Travers Engineering Annaclone GP, just one week after finishing 2nd in Kuurne-Kuurne Juniors (UCI 1.1) in Belgium.

And though the 18-year-old has had a very busy, and tiring, season since then he is still going strong six months on and as the UCI World Road Championships in Zurich get ever closer.

Dunwoody (Cannibal B Victorious) collected his latest victory today, at the Ulster Road Race Championships, on the Ulster Grand Prix Circuit, Dundrod, Co Antrim, where he was best in the combined men's elite and junior field.

Oisin Ferrity of Caldwell Cycles, who has been competing with UCI Continental team Trinity Racing in recent weeks, took silver today, with Gareth O Neill (Athlete Nutrition Coach HD) taking the bronze medal. Conor Kelly (Team Caldwell Cycles) took the junior silver medal.

As well as the 18-year-old taking the men's event, another young gun, Darcey Harkness of VC Glendale, was crowned women's champion; that success coming after her stage victory in the recent Newry Three Day.
