Jason Kenny of UCD Cycling Club won the Mick Lally with an epic solo effort four years ago and the 2026 edition - along with the Ian Gallahar and Willie Marks memorials - is down for decision in Summerhill, Co Meath, tomorrow
The Mick Lally Memorial promotion, featuring three races, is set to get the Leinster 2026 road racing season underway tomorrow, Saturday. With cold temperatures forecast, it will be a lung-busting curtain raiser, though the rain is expected to hold off until the afternoon.
All eyes will be on peloton sizes this season, especially in these early weeks of the campaign after the numbers-related pressures of recent years. And the fields in the Mick Lally, Ian Gallahar and Willie Marks memorials are broadly in line with last year.

The good news is Dublin Wheelers has the numbers for three races, with 33 riders in the C1 Mick Lally, 21 in the C2 Ian Gallahar and 59 in the C3 Willie Marks.
