Stage 6 results and full final classifications Junior Tour of Ireland 2022

Ben Askey (Bäckstedt Bike Performance) claimed his second stage victory of the Junior Tour of Ireland on the final day of racing into Ennis, Co Clare, today but nothing could dislodge Andrew August (Hot Tubes) from the yellow jersey.

August, a 16-year-old who finished 5th in the World Cyclocross Championships earlier this year, won stage four from a two-man breakaway, to take the race lead which he held yesterday and today.

Conal Scully of Team Ireland claimed victory in the king of the mountains classification after taking that jersey from overall winner August with a great ride through the race, especially on the Cat 1 climbs of yesterday.
