Stage 4 results Rás na mBan | Gillespie wins again ahead of big finale

After claiming the first Irish win for eight years on Rás na mBan stage 1, Lara Gillespie (Team Ireland) took a second win today when she won the sprint from the reduced peloton into Piltown on stage 4.

With just one day of racing to go, Amelia Tyler (Cycling Ulster) leads the 'Irish rider' classification by 1:17 from Caoimhe O'Brien (Cycling Leinster) with Emma Porter (UCD Cycling Club) in 3rd at 3:27.

While the overall race lead is retained by stage 2 winner Lieke van Zeelst (Greenmount CA), she has a gap of just five seconds over stage 2 winner Kate Richardson (Alba Development). There are 11 riders within one minute of Zeelst ahead of tomorrow morning's 2.5km TT and afternoon criterium, both in Kilkenny City.
