Sean McKenna of UCD took his first victory of the season tonight when he outsprinted Daragh Long of the Nicolas Roche Performance team at the Peter Bidwell Memorial in Donore.

McKenna overcame the handicap on the night to ride through all of the front groups, finally linking up with Long on the last of eight laps.

The duo came to the finish together, with McKenna easily outsprinting the youngster for his first victory of the year and UCD's second win in six days, after teammate Eoin Morton took the Ben McKenna Memorial in Balbriggan last Sunday.
