Having taken a number of victories last year, junior rider Seamus Sinnott has opened his account for 2015 on the first day of the season.
The Wexford Wheelers man was first home at the head of a large field in the A3 race at the Ned Flanagan Memorial in Monasterevin, Co Kildare.
Niall Whelan of Laois CC was 2nd, with Paul Smith of Waterford Racing Team rounding out the podium in 3rd place.
The A4 race was settled in a two-up sprint, with Sean O’Connor (Galway Bay CC) getting the verdict from Leo Temple (Longford CC).
Ross Cadogan (Clontarf CC) was with the other two and while he lost contact in the last 5km he hung on for 3rd place.
