Sam Bennett has had an outstanding start to his first year as a professional and today took his second victory in the paid ranks at Rund Um Koln in Germany.

First year professional Sam Bennett has stormed to a sensational second professional victory at Rund Um Koln in Germany this afternoon.
The NetApp Endura pro took the victory in a photo finish, with Belkin's Barry Markus second and MTN Qhubeka's home hero and former Milan San Remo winner Gerald Ciolek third.

Two more Irish riders finished in the top 20 in the 1.1 ranked race today with Sean Downey of the An Post Chain Reaction team taking 17th across the line and national road race champion Matt Brammeier, riding for the Synergy Baku squad, finishing one place behind Downey for 18th.
