Ryan Sherlock (leading, above) has taken the second stage of the Ballinrobe Two Day this morning, beating Eoin Morton of UCD into second place in the 7.4km TT stage.
Sherlock, who along with wife Mel Spath (Team TIBCO) put 1:50 into a chase group on yesterday's opening stage has now taken the yellow jersey from Spath for this afternoon's road stage.
However, after winning the opener yesterday, Spath was 23rd in this morning's test. She holds 2nd place overall and still has a decent 50 second lead over third placed rider Morton.
