Ryan Mullen flashes class with top TT in ‘Three Days of West Flanders’

Ryan Mullen has put in a great ride in the 7km prologue TT at the Three Days of West Flanders race in Belgium.

Ryan Mullen has shown that class that landed him a WorldTour contract at the tender age of 21 years in the opening stage of the Three Days of West Flanders in Belgium.

The Cannondale rider came home in 15th place in the first stage of the week on Friday; a short sharp 7km effort in Middelkerke.

The stage was on by BMC Racing’s Tom Bohil; the 22-year-old victor completing the courts in 7mins 50secs.

He was a very significant 6 seconds ahead of Martjin Keizer (LottoNL-Jumbo), with Lukasz Wisniowski (Etixx-Quick Step) in 3rd a further 4 seconds back.

National elite and U23 TT champion Mullen was 19 seconds down and the best finisher of his team.
