Ronan Grimes has claimed Ireland's second medal at the UCI Paracycling Track World Championships in Milton, Canada.
Some 24 hours after Katie George Dunlevy and Eve McCrystal took silver in the pursuit, Grimes took bronze in the same event.
He set a personal best in the process; putting in a career-best performance when the chips were really down.
The Galway man broke through on the international scene at these championships twelve months ago when he claimed silver in the scratch race.
He then went on to take a bronze on the road in the World Cup later in the season; his medal win today in Canada extending that successful run.

Today Ronan Grimes qualified for the bronze medal ride-off in the 4km C4 individual pursuit with a time of 4:45.045; facing the American Jason Macon in that battle for bronze later in the day.
The Irish rider went faster again
when up against Macon, recording a new personal best of 4:43.806 for an average speed of 50.739kph.
Macon pushed him all the way and started faster than Grimes through the opening kilometre.
However, the Irish cyclist quickly got back on top and just beat the American, who clocked 4:44.537 over the 4km race distance.
The title was won by Jozef Metelkal; the Slovakian best in qualifying when he recorded a time of 4:31.768.
Carol-Eduard Novak of Romania was second fastest in qualifying with a time of 4:44.063 and went on to lose out to Metelkal in the gold-silver head-to-head.
