Rom Dahl and Conway best in 25 Mile TT action in Co Galway

Johannes Rom Dahl (Roadman Cycling Club) has taken another TT win on the Irish scene, this time over the 25 mile TT distance in Co Galway, just two weeks after claiming victory in the Alo Donegan Cup 10 Mile TT in Co Kildare.

Abi Conway (Westport Covey Wheelers), who has been one of the breakthrough riders on the women's road scene over the last couple of seasons, claimed the women's race.

Men's winner, Rom Dahl, blasted around the Kilreekil-Ballinalsoe-Kilreekil course in the Seven Springs Open 25 Mile TT in a time of 49:00. That was 1:38 faster than runner-up Conor Prendergast (Velo Performance), with Michael Reilly (Unattached) in 3rd place in a time of 56:10.

In the women's race, Conway clocked a time of 1:01:17, claiming the win from runner-up Martina McIntyre (Unattached), who clocked 01:10:54.
