This weekend's action on the home scene is comprised of both road and track, with the Duane Delaney Memorial set to be fought out on the velodrome in Crumlin, Dublin. There are also road races in Tyrone, Antrim and Limerick.

On Saturday in Eamonn Ceannt Park, Crumlin, the Duane Delaney is being run in honour of Dubliner Delaney, a very popular rider who raced with Finglas Ravens and was killed while cycling to a road race in Melbourne, Australia, in 1998.

The promotion is unique in Irish cycling; a graded omnium-style event for accredited track riders from U16 upwards, with a separate women's section.

It will involve a F200, scratch race, and mile with all points going forward to a points race. Riders will be allocated to separate categories and compete within that category towards section and overall prizes.
