Liam Curley has taken victory in the main event at the Starsky CC Grand Prix in Rathcoole, Co Dublin, today.

Curley (Spellman Dublin Port) won the race in a sprint from a five-man breakaway when he prevailed despite coming up against All human-VeloRevolution team mates Daire Feeley and Mark Dowling.

While Feeley had won the Noel Teggart Memorial in the North 24 hours earlier and he and Dowling are among the most prolific riders on the home scene, Curley got the better of them on the uphill sprint to the line.
