Kelly Murphy (Awol O'Shea) has won her fourth elite Irish TT title at the National Road Championships in Dungannon, Co Tyrone, this evening; doing so in very convincing style.

At the end of the 31km TT, on lumpy terrain, Murphy was 1:56 up on her nearest rival, and silver medal winner, Joanna Patterson (Wahoo Le Col).

Linda Kelly, the Irish international paracycling tandem pilot riding for Spin the Bean, took the bronze medal some 2:12 down on the winner. Imogen Cotter (Fenix-Deceuninck Continental) was 4th, at 3:49, with Annalise Murphy (Longcourt Hotel NCW Wheelers) completed the top five at 4:18.

In the elite men's race, Ryan Mullen (Bora-hansgrohe) won his ninth Irish elite road title, and his sixth against the watch. He claimed the gold medal from last year's champion Ben Healy (EF Education-EasyPost) by just 7.65 seconds.

Darren Rafferty (Hagens Berman Axeon) won the U23 men's title in a time of 37:43.86, which would have placed him 4th in the elite title race.

Aaron Wade (Cortizo Aluminium Team) was 4th at 1:22 while last year's junior champion, Conal Scully (Team Dan Morrissey-Primor by Pissei), placed 5th at 1:35.
