Fintan Ryan has repeated his victory of last week at the Mondello Series in Co Kildare, with the Irish road and track international proving too fast for the opposition again this evening.
The Kingspan-TrackProject.ie rider got the verdict over fellow international level rider Marc Potts (Caldwell Cycles) and one of the breakthrough men of recent seasons Paul Forristal (Strata 3-VeloRevolution).
While national criterium champion Ryan was at the head of affairs for the second week running, Ireland's other elite crit champion Ellen McDermott (Team Boompods) was leading woman on the night.
Riding against male opposition, including Continental level pro riders and the rest of the A1-A2-A3 field, McDermott placed in the top 20, running out 18th at the end of the hostilities.
In the A4 race Sean Mullen came
away with the victory in the colours of Navan Road Club. He beat Daniel McGuinness (Clondalkin CC) and Fergal Kennedy (Carlow
RCC) into 2nd and 3rd respectively.
