Results Kildare Open 10 Mile TT promoted by Donadea Wheelers

Conn McDunphy has shown great early season form in France before competition was suspended due to Covid19 and has today gotten his season back on track with a TT win on Irish roads.

Riding again this year for CC Nogent Oise, TT specialist McDunphy got the better of national and world Masters TT gold medal winner Greg Swinand (Dan Morrissey-MIG-Pactimo).

McDunphy won in a time of 20:04, exactly 30 seconds up on Swinand. Rounding out the podium on the day was Dermot Trulock (Lucan CRC) in a time of 21:03.

Jennifer Neenan (Alicante-based Vib-Natural) won the
women’s race in a time of 24:05, with Aisling Barry (Lucan CRC) in 2nd place,
recording a time of 26:06. Clodagh Allen (Clonard RC) rounded out the podium
with 27:33.

McDunphy won the men’s Kildare TT Championships from Ronan
Killeen (Lucan CRC) and Robert Stack (Kildare Cycling Club).
