
Leo Doyle (TWC Tempo Veldhoven) has ended his 2021 road season with victory in the main event at the Leinster Criterium Championships in Corkagh Park, Dublin.
The Irish U23 international, who has been based in the Netherlands in recent seasons, was best at the end of yesterday's race; getting the better of Greg Swinand in a two-up sprint for victory.
Behind Doyle and Swinand (Dan Morrissey-MIG-Pactimo), Diarmuid O'Brien of Collins Cycle Centre came through for the A1-A2 bronze medal.
In the A3 race, John Sheridan (St Tiernans Cycling Club) took gold ahead of Alan Lyne (Dunboyne Cycling Club) and Andy Grehan (Lucan Cycling Road Club).
The A4 victory went to Robert Magee (Bray Wheelers) from Brian McGrath (McNally Swords CC) and Sean Brennan (UCD Cycling Club).
