Fearghal Kelly (Phoenix CC) and James Alexander (McConvey Cycles) have taken late season wins in challenging conditions today at the Armagh Road Races promoted by Armagh City Cyclists.
Kelly sprinted in at the end of the A3 race to take the win, at the front of the bunch, from Darragh Doherty (VC Glendale), with Mikey Flaherty (Lakeside Wheelers Mullingar).
The A4 race also ended in a sprint finish, in wet conditions, but from a breakaway rather than a bunch. James Alexander (McConvey Cycles) was first to the chequered flag for victory, with Gary Winters (Clogher Valley Wheelers) placing 2nd and Colm Bellew (Clontarf CC) rounding out the podium.
