Liam Curley has added another win to his CV after proving best in the main event at the Newbridge GP. The Spellman Dublin Port rider, whose biggest victory this year was the overall at the Newcastle West Stage Race, was best in a two-up sprint in Kildare on Sunday.
Curley, a member of the Spellman Dublin Port team that claimed the team prize at the National Road Championships, got the better of Matthew Devins (Trinity Racing) in the two-up sprint for victory on Sunday. The winner's team mate, Andy Maguire, took 3rd place.
In the A4 race, the fight for victory came down to a group sprint. It was won by Rob Magee (Bray Wheelers) from Ronei Rodriguez (Tullamore CTC) and Dáire McNab (Unattached Leinster).
