Conor Murnane has proven to be one of the top riders of the
2021 season and his reputation has taken another step forward with victory in
the Galway Classic today.

It’s been a big week for the UCD Cycling Club rider, who
was competing in the Galway Bay Cycling Club promotion today as part of a
Leinster selection.

Victory at the Mondello Series last Tuesday was followed up
48 hours later with his first Irish title after winning the National Criterium
Championships on Thursday in Co Limerick.

And today at the end of the Galway Classic, Murnane unleashed his increasingly fearsome sprint to win again, from a 10-man group.

This time around he beat Daire Feeley (All
human-VeloRevolution) into 2nd place, as he had done at the criterium
championships three days ago.

Feeley took the runner-up spot today having won Rás Cill
Mocheallog in Co Limerick yesterday, in very convincing fashion.
