Moore is best from quality breakaway at Foyle Grand Prix

Darnell Moore (Caldwell Cycles) has won the Foyle GP in Co in Donegal. He topped the podium in the main event from 2nd placed Lindsay Watson (Powerhouse Sport) with yesterday's Red Hand Trophy winner Gareth O'Neill (Caldwell Cycles) in 3rd.

The first three came to the line together, with Moore just about getting the verdict in the three-up sprint over Kerry Group Rás Mumhan winner Watson in what was a very tight finish with O'Neill just behind.

In the A3-Junior race Darragh Doherty (VC Glendale) came away with the victory after he was fastest in the bunch sprint that settled the honours. Doherty, who took a clear win, saw off Joseph Owens (Caldwell Cycles) and 3rd placed Conall Donnelly (Clogher Valley Wheelers).
